๐ŸŒฟ The Life of a Little Leaf ๐ŸŒฟ

High up on a big green tree, I lived with my leafy friends. We were like a big family โ€” always together, always chatting, and always swaying in the breeze. I was a little lighter in color than my two best buddies beside me. They teased me about it, but only with love.

Every morning, we woke up early โ€” even before the birds began to sing. When the dew came to visit, it kissed our faces with cool drops. The air smelled sweet with roses and daisies blooming nearby. We all agreed: mornings were the best!

Sometimes, I would stare at the world and wonder:
โ€œWho made us so perfect?โ€
Our stalk held us close like a hug, and every leaf had its own job to do. Some gave shade, some made food, and all of us helped the tree in our own special way.

๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Then came winter.
Brrr! The cold winds blew, and snowflakes landed on us like icy feathers. โ€œOuch!โ€ I cried to my friends. โ€œThis snow is freezing!โ€ But we held on tightly. The One who made us had given us strength, and we were built to face even the frostiest days.

๐ŸŒธ At last, spring arrived!
Ah, what a magical time! The flowers popped out with bright colors. Roses, tulips, and daisies danced in the wind. Bees buzzed, butterflies fluttered, and the whole world felt new again. I could almost hear the petals giggling.

โ˜€๏ธ Then came summer.
The sun was strong and sometimes too hot! I closed my tiny pores โ€” called stomata โ€” to save water. โ€œIโ€™m thirsty,โ€ I whispered, feeling tired. But I stayed strong, because I knew rain would come again.

๐Ÿ‚ And finally, it was autumn.
The winds turned dry. One by one, my leaf friends let go and floated gently to the ground. I stayed on, holding tightly, hoping for a little more time.

Then, one day, something happened.

A group of children came to the tree. โ€œOh no,โ€ whispered the roots. โ€œBe careful.โ€ We were scared. Sometimes people pluck us for no reason.

But then, a kind boy reached out and softly touched me.
He whispered, โ€œMamaโ€™s sick. This leaf can help her feel better.โ€

I felt his warm hand. I didnโ€™t want to leave my tree. But I understood.

As he gently picked me and placed me in his basket, I thought,
โ€œMaybe this is why I was made.โ€

Not to fall and be forgotten on the groundโ€ฆ
But to help someone heal.
To make someone smile.
To be part of something good.

And in that moment, even though I was no longer on the tree, I was happy.

Because even little leaves can make a big difference.
