How I Fought Through Study Stress and Won!
Hey friends!
Have you ever felt like exams were a huge scary monster chasing you down a dark hallway? ๐ฑ Well, thatโs exactly how I felt when my pre-mock exams were just around the corner!
๐ง Brain Freeze!
Subjects like Economics, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and Accounts stared at me like giant mountains. I didnโt even know where to begin. Everything I had studied before seemed to vanish from my brain โ like water leaking through a basket! ๐๐ง
Every time I looked at my books, they looked like alien language. I couldnโt remember anything. My brain just refused to work!
๐ฐ The Panic Gets Real
When the exam timetable was finally shared, I almost fainted. The syllabus wasnโt just huge โ it was mega huge! It had topics from both this year and last year. And guess what? I had forgotten most of them!
To make it worse, the first exam was Economics โ my toughest subject. I felt like I was doomed! ๐
๐งญ Making a Battle Plan
Even though some subjects like English and Urdu seemed easier, I knew I had to focus on one step at a time. I chose to start with Economics and make that my goal.
In the last few days before exams, schools are full of free periods โ and some kids just play or chat. But I knew this was my chance to use every moment wisely. I loved sports, but I had to pause the fun and focus. These exams were the first step toward my dream college!
๐ฑ A Lifesaver from YouTube
I tried reading my Economics book, but it made no sense at all. Then I messaged a friend asking for help (with lots of crying emojis ๐ญ). Thankfully, he recommended a YouTube channel that explained everything so well! I was so thankful โ I even made dua for him.
I started watching the videos, taking notes, and solving past papers. But even then, I often felt like I wasnโt doing enough. Sometimes Iโd just sit and stare at my notes, not understanding anything, and tears would roll down my cheeks.
๐ง Finding Motivation
To keep myself going, I listened to motivational nasheeds (songs) that lifted my heart and reminded me not to give up. ๐
On bad days, I would hide under a blanket and cry into my pillow. But the guilt of not studying would catch up, and Iโd feel even worse. Thatโs when I made a decision: no more late-night studying. Instead, I started waking up early โ before dawn โ when my mind felt fresh and ready to learn.
๐ค Leaning on Friends
Whenever I felt too stressed, Iโd text my friends to see how they were doing. We shared memes, jokes, and funny stories. It made everything feel lighter and reminded me I wasnโt alone in this!
๐ The Big Day
Finally, the day of the Economics paper arrived. I went to class, discussed notes with my friends, and sat for the test. Guess what? The paper was easy! All the hard work had paid off โ but it was just the beginning.
๐ More Exams, More Focus
Next came Geography, Islamiat, History, Mathsโฆ and more! I followed the same plan โ watching videos, making notes, and getting help from my teachers. They even scolded me sometimes, but I knew it was because they cared.
Accounts was the trickiest subject for me. I didnโt understand the logic behind it at first. But I didnโt give up! I practiced, practiced, and practiced โ and finally, I did well in that too! ๐
๐ What I Learned
Exams are tough. They take time, patience, and a lot of effort. But if you keep going and donโt give up, you can beat the exam beast.
And if the results donโt go as you expected โ thatโs okay too! These tests donโt define who you are. They are just one part of your journey.
So remember:
๐ช Keep trying
๐ง Donโt give up
๐ง Find your motivation
๐ And always believe in yourself!
You are stronger than any exam!
Letโs all be brave learners and do our best โ because that is what truly counts! ๐ซ
