🌸Easy Paper Flowers🌸

Let’s Get Ready for Eid with Colourful Blossoms!

Eid is just around the corner — a time filled with smiles, new clothes, yummy treats, and special moments with family and friends! 🕌✨ And guess what? It’s also the perfect time to make your home look extra lovely.

So today, let’s create something fun and festive: beautiful paper flowers! We’ll use them next time to build a colourful photo booth where you can take fun selfies with your loved ones. 📸💐

We’ll make four different flowers today. You can use colours that match your Eid outfit or go wild with all the rainbow shades! 🌈

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • At least 4 coloured papers
  • Double-sided tape
  • Scissors ✂️
  • Pencil ✏️
  • White glue
  • Ruler
  • Hot glue (ask an adult for help!)
  • Compass or any round object (like a lid or glass)

🌼 Let’s Make Our First Flower — The Accordion Flower!

  1. Cut a strip of paper 7 inches long and 3 inches wide.
  2. Fold it back and forth like an accordion.
  3. Fold it in half again, snip the top into a triangle shape, and stick double-sided tape inside and outside the fold.
  4. Open it and stick the ends together to form a pretty flower!

🌸 Now the Second Flower — The Petal Circle Flower!

  1. Cut 24 circles from coloured paper, each about 2.5 inches wide.
  2. Set one aside (this will be your base). Fold all the others in half to make petals.
  3. Glue the petals one by one onto the middle of the base circle, layering them carefully.
  4. Keep adding petals until you have a full, beautiful bloom!

🌺 Flower Three — The Gerbera!

  1. Cut 5 paper circles in different sizes.
  2. Fold each circle into thirds.
  3. Draw two arch shapes on the folded piece and carefully cut them out.
  4. Open each one and snip little cuts from the edges toward the middle (but don’t cut all the way through).
  5. Gently fold the edges up to make it look more real.
  6. Glue the flowers together from biggest to smallest, and add a small dot in the middle for the flower’s center.

🌼 Last One — The Crepe Paper Daisy!

  1. Cut an 8-inch strip of folded crepe paper. Snip tiny cuts from the top edge, leaving about 1 cm at the bottom.
  2. To make the center, cut a 4-inch strip (1 cm wide), fringe one side, then roll it up into a coil.
  3. Place the coil at the start of the crepe strip, and gently roll and glue it into a fluffy daisy!

🌟Great job! You now have four kinds of beautiful handmade flowers! 🎨💐
Next time, we’ll show you how to turn these into a gorgeous photo booth for your Eid party. So, keep your flowers safe and stay tuned!
