✈️ Get Ready for Take-Off! ✈️

Hey young builders! 🚀
Do you love airplanes? Today, we’re going to make our very own craft stick airplane — no flying license needed! Whether you’re just starting with crafts or already a pro, this fun project is perfect for all skill levels.

Grab your supplies and let’s start building your mini airplane!

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • 14 craft sticks or Popsicle sticks (big ones are best!)
  • Scissors ✂️
  • Hot glue (ask an adult for help!)
  • 3 small black buttons
  • Paints or markers (optional, for decorating)

🛠️ Let’s Build Your Airplane!

Step 1:
Start with the airplane’s body. Take 6 craft sticks and glue them together so they look like steps on a staircase — one end should stick out more than the other. (This will be the front of the plane!)

Step 2:
Set that piece aside — great job so far! 👍

Step 3:
Next, take 3 more sticks. Glue 2 of them together like a staircase again.

Step 4:
Before adding the third stick, use black marker or paint to colour the tip (about 1 cm), and draw the airplane’s windows and door.

Step 5:
Now glue the third stick on top — you’ve made the top of the plane!

Step 6:
Glue your two airplane parts together to form the full body. Awesome work! 💪

Step 7:
Time for the tail! Cut 3 small sticks about 1.5 inches long. Trim one side of each piece at an angle (ask an adult to help with cutting).

Step 8:
Glue one of these pieces standing up on the back of your plane — this is the tail fin.

Step 9:
Glue the other two pieces flat, one on each side of the tail. These are the rear wings.

Step 10:
Now for the main wings! Cut 2 more sticks so they’re about one-third the normal size.

Step 11:
Glue these main wings at the bottom sides of the plane, tilting them slightly backward for a cool flying look! 🛫

Step 12:
Stick two buttons on the wings (they’re your engines!) and one button underneath at the front (like a front wheel!).

🎉 And just like that — your Craft Stick Airplane is ready to take off! You can paint it, add cool designs, or even build a whole fleet of airplanes with different styles.

Happy flying, Captain!
