Hey little artists! π¨
Do you love collecting colourful pens, pencils, and markers? Us too! But where do you keep them all? Donβt worry β today, weβre making a super cool pen holder using an empty plastic bottle and your creativity!
Letβs turn trash into treasure! β»οΈβ¨
π§° What Youβll Need:
π οΈ Letβs Get Crafty!
Step 1:
Use a marker to draw a line around the bottle about 4 to 5 inches from the bottom. Thatβs how tall your pen holder will be!
Step 2:
With the help of an adult, cut the bottle carefully along the line. βοΈ
Step 3:
Wrap a measuring tape (or string) around the bottle to measure its size. Then cut out a circle from your coloured paper to match the bottom of the bottle. Also cut a strip from the same paper β about 1 cm wide and 6 inches long.
Step 4:
Glue the strip around the circle to make a little wall β this will look like the base of your pen holder. πΊ
Step 5:
Now cut a rectangle from the coloured paper (same as the bottleβs height and slightly shorter than its width). Roll it into a cylinder and place it inside the bottle. Leave a small gap around the edge β this is where your decorations will go!
Step 6:
Fill the space between the paper and the bottle with fun stuff β thermocol balls, shiny sequins, or pretty beads. πβ¨
Step 7:
Make another paper circle and strip just like before, but this time, cut a hole in the center of the circle β thatβs where your pens will go in!
Step 8:
Glue this on top of the bottle to keep your decorations inside and hold your pens in place. π
And just like that β your awesome bottle pen holder is ready to sit proudly on your desk! ποΈ
You can decorate it more with stickers, glitter, or drawings β make it totally YOU!
