🎨 Owl Buddies for Your Pencils! 🦉✏️

Hey there, crafty kids! 🌟
Exams might be keeping you busy, but guess what? You still have time for something fun and creative! In just 30 minutes, you can make your very own owl pencil topper—a cute little buddy that sits on your pencil and keeps you company while you write. 💛

It’s a tiny thing, but it can make a big difference—especially when you’re feeling a little tired or stressed. Ready to make your own owl pal? Let’s get crafting!

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • Foam sheets (any colour you like!)
  • Glitter foam sheets (for some sparkle ✨)
  • Googly eyes (one pair for each owl)
  • Hot glue or white glue
  • Scissors ✂️
  • Pencil (of course!)
  • A grown-up’s help for cutting and gluing 🔒

🦉 Let’s Make a Full Owl Pencil Topper!

  1. Draw and Cut the Owl’s Body:
On a plain foam sheet, draw an oval with two small pointy ears at the top. Cut it out carefully.
  2. Add Wings and Tummy:
Cut two glittery butterfly-shaped wings. Then cut a half-oval shape with a big “V” at the top—this will be the owl’s sparkly tummy.
  3. Make the Beak and Feet:
From orange foam, cut a small heart (for the beak) and a bigger, wider heart (for the feet).
  4. Glue Everything On:
Stick on the googly eyes just under the ears. Add the small heart between the eyes for the beak.
Then, glue on the wings, the sparkly tummy in the middle, and the big heart at the bottom for the feet.

🖍 Want Just a Head Topper?

  1. Make a Circle Head:
Use a circle shape (like a bottle cap or protractor) to draw and cut a round head.
  2. Decorate the Face:
Cut out foam circles for eyes in fun colours. Add the beak and little claws—just like before!
  3. Attach It to the Pencil:
Cut a long thin strip of foam and wrap it around the top of your pencil. Glue it at the back.
Then, cut a small rectangle and glue it over the wrap to make it look neat and tidy.

🎉 Ta-da! Your Owl Buddy Is Ready!

These pencil toppers are super easy to make, and you can create a whole family of them in no time. Try making different birds too—maybe a parrot or a penguin! Just use your imagination. 🐧🦜

So next time you sit down to study, your new owl friend will be right there cheering you on!
