✈️ Zoom into the Sky with a Bottle Airplane! ✈️

Have an empty plastic bottle lying around? Don’t throw it away — let’s turn it into something amazing! Today, we’re making a colorful airplane using a 250ml bottle. With just some paper, glue, and a sprinkle of imagination, you’ll have your very own recycled flying machine! 🌟

Ready to fly? Let’s get crafting! 🚀

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • 1 empty plastic bottle (250ml size)
  • 2 coloured A4 papers (any colours you like!)
  • 18-inch piece of string or jute rope
  • Double-sided tape
  • Ruler
  • Scissors or paper cutter (get an adult to help!)
  • Pencil
  • Marker

🛠️ Let’s Make Your Bottle Plane!

Step 1:
Choose your paper colours! Pick one for the wings and tail (like purple) and another for windows and decorations (like yellow).

Step 2:
Take one sheet of paper and place it upright (portrait). Fold it into three equal parts from top to bottom.

Step 3:
Cut off the two connected parts. These will become your wings! Stick some double-sided tape on the inside fold so the wings stay together.

Step 4:
Use your pencil to draw a wing shape on both sides — then cut them out. ✂️

Step 5:
With help from an adult, draw two 3-inch lines on opposite sides of the bottle and carefully cut slits along those lines. These will hold your wings.

Step 6:
Time to make the propeller! Take the bottle cap, trace a circle of paper the same size, then cut out a little propeller shape. Glue the propeller onto the circle, and then stick it on the bottle cap.

Step 7:
Let’s build the tail! Cut a 3-inch by 1-inch strip for the fin and a 2-inch by 1-inch piece for the rudder (use the same paper as the wings).

Step 8:
Slide the wings into the slits you made earlier on the sides of the bottle.

Step 9:
Now cut a small slit at the bottom back of the bottle and slide in the fin and rudder.

Step 10:
Cut out six small circles and two stars from your second colour paper. Decorate the wings and sides of the bottle to make your airplane look super cool! 🌟

Step 11:
Make two tiny holes at the top of the bottle. Thread your string through one hole and out the other — now you can hang or fly your bottle plane!

🎉 You did it! Your recycled bottle airplane is ready for takeoff. Fly it around the room, hang it in your window, or race it with a friend. The sky’s the limit! 🌈✈️
